Abstract

At the first stage of research, the experimental transmission functions and optimal two-channel automatic adjustment system (ARS) of the residual moisture content during convection drying of apples were developed. As a result of the analysis of the structural synthesis of the ARS, the advantage of the optimal dual-channel ARS compared to the single-channel system was established. At the second stage of research, with a view to improving the quality of the single-channel speed ARS of the residual moisture content of apples, the robust ARS was developed by the method of parametric synthesis and root hodograph. Based on the research, the advantages of the speed single-channel robust system compared to the dual-channel system were established, which will significantly improve the quality of the products and reduce energy consumption for drying.
