2022, vol.14 , no.4, pp. 89-100
Article [2022-04-09]
The paper presents the development of a prototype mobile application suitable for children in the primary school stage using the approaches of game-based learning, adaptive learning, micro lesson learning, and behaviour monitoring learning. The general architecture of a system for mobile game-based learning based on modules is presented. A mobile game design based on templates is proposed. Several software tools were used to implement the mobile application. The prototype was tested in a real learning environment.

Automatic HTML form filling assistant
2022, vol.14 , no.4, pp. 79-88
Article [2022-04-08]
Web application users fill data in web forms every day, and problem situations often arise due to various reasons (misunderstanding the requirements, entering wrong data or value outside a certain range, or applying some regular expression to a certain field, etc.). The paper proposes a hybrid approach to identify and classify different elements in a web document in an accurate and efficient way that optimizes and automates the process of data filling in web forms by users. Machine learning techniques, heuristics and dynamic analysis of HTML objects were used, and a script was developed to overcome difficulties in filling out forms. The advantage of the proposed script is that it can work with HTML documents regardless of the domain area, specificity and nature of their content, saving time in addition. The characteristics of the attributes and constraints of the input elements in web forms are extracted fully automatically and the generated messages to the users are synthesized based on a generalized structural rule.

Machine learning algorithm for intelligent bots in multiplayer video game: A case study
2022, vol.14 , no.4, pp. 67-78
Article [2022-04-07]
This paper describes the results of a developed online machine learning method implemented in a real-time multiplayer game called Hram Light. The goal was to create a program which produces several ways of playing for a bot, which would become a virtual trainer for players. The solutions are required to vary in success rate in order to achieve progress in player improvement. The input of the method is a data model of parameters which describe a player’s way of playing in a game situation. The process of learning takes place in the online world and produces a variety of solutions via a genetic algorithm.

Human activity recognition using hybrid model
2022, vol.14 , no.4, pp. 55-66
Article [2022-04-06]
The main task of the Human Activity Recognition (HAR) is to recognize the different actions performed by the individual. There are various machine learning and deep learning models which have been presented to predict the given activity of the human. The problem of the existing system is that they could not identify the activity when there is a sudden change in the activity. Hence, this paper proposes a model by using the deep learning concepts which can predict the activities and also can predict the sudden transition of one activity to another. This method uses the Convolution-Neural-Network Layer (CNN) and Gated-Recurrent-Unit (GRU) which identifies the changes in the activities collected by the sensors and gives us correct results. For the experimentation of this model, the University-of-California (UCI) Human Activity Recognition dataset has been used. This dataset comprises of various activities such as walking, sitting, standing etc. The results have compared with Human Activity Recognition System (HARS). The proposed model attained an accuracy of 96.79% whereas the HARS attained 95.99%. When compared with precision, recall and F1-score, the proposed model performed better than the existing model.

An approach for program investigation of computer processes presented by Markov models
2022, vol.14 , no.4, pp. 45-54
Article [2022-04-05]
The classical organization of computer processing obeys the hierarchical model of two levels (macro and micro), and the processes of each of them can be described by a functional algorithm. This permits to make formalization by using different mathematical platforms, but the graph theory is very suitable for this purpose. In this reason, the article presents an opportunity for program investigation of computer processes that are modelled by means of Markov chains based on designed program module by using APL2 language in the TryAPL2 operating environment. Presented module is a part of constructed program environment for investigation of computer processes in micro and macro levels.

Fuzzy reasoning on buck DC-DC power converter
2022, vol.14 , no.4, pp. 33-34
Article [2022-04-04]
The paper concerns power converter parameter analysis. Authors’ software is implemented, and Matlab applications are used. The proposed approach, based on fuzzy production rules too, compares results in order last ones to be verified as a proper tool in parameter estimations on power devices. The presented technique is useful on power circuit parameters and controller characteristics and design.

Performance analysis of DevOps based hybrid models integrated with different automation tool chains for quality software development
2022, vol.14 , no.4, pp. 25-30
Article [2022-04-03]
Software development methodologies have evolved through traditional waterfall model to recent DevOps development culture. This research validates the performance of our previously proposed, implemented and verifed DevOps-based hybrid model of integrated automation tools. For this purpose, underlying work considers random DevOps automation tool chain model based on current market and industry scenario followed by the evaluation of software quality metrics for both models and conclude comparative results in the form of tables. The results confirm that a randomly selected tool chain performs better, but if the tool chain is pre-determined or fixed, DevOps performance improves many folds, which validates the performance of our DevOps-based hybrid model of integrated automation tools. This research will be useful for software developers to select best automation tools that not only speed up the development process but also deliver quality software.

A framework for evaluation of web-based learning content
2022, vol.14 , no.4, pp. 13-22
Article [2022-04-02]
A framework for adding qualitative and quantitative meta-descriptions of WEB based learning content is discussed in this work. The purpose is to be provided sufficient information about the digital interactive objects included in a WEB based learning resource in order to classify and measure its’ suitability for use in online educational process. Taking into account that the interactivity of digital learning content should be regarded in two directives – didactical and technological, a Complex Interactivity Index is introduced. A pilot version of a WEB based tool for validation and evaluation of WEB based learning resources is proposed and some examples are give.

Modern monitoring and operational decision-making systems based on image series have become widely used for a wide variety of applications. At the stage of identification of graphic images, the affiliation of the found dynamic object to the class of objects of interest is established on the basis of a comparative analysis of its contours with a given template. The article continues the cycle of research in which the identification process is considered and the algorithm of machine graphics is given. A description of the interaction of the structural components of the video analytics system is presented.
