Cryptocurrencies: Instruments for investment security protection
2024, vol.16 , no.1, pp. 89-100
Article [2024-01-09]
The current research aims to reveal whether cryptocurrencies may be included in investors’ portfolios as instruments for diversification and hedging against global systematic risk. The main contribution of the research is the fact that it provides proof of the usage of cryptos for hedging against global financial systematic risk. This seems to confirm the main hypothesis in the study about the role of money and cryptos in the contemporary global financial economy. The research reveals evidence that cryptocurrencies can play the role of global market predictors.

System software architecture for advancing human robot interaction by cloud services and multi-robot cooperation
2024, vol.16 , no.1, pp. 65-76
Article [2024-01-07]
Human-like interactions with robots based on Conversational AI facilitate assistance and teamwork in various contexts. Those interactions are further enhanced by utilizing physical presence and context from the robot's hardware. Robot cooperation is also especially useful, when software or hardware resources have to be shared in a multi-robot system. Therefore, we propose a modular software architecture for multi-robot cooperation that extends the integration of Conversational AI into Socially Assistive Robots, previously suggested by authors. It utilizes a flow-based approach that involves shared repositories and direct or message-driven communication to convey natural language transcriptions among robots in order to support their cooperation. By experiments we evaluated the cooperation between NAOqi based robots and Furhat robot. Our experimental results demonstrate architecture's modularity and adaptability to different cloud services, along with its effectiveness for interactions involving multiple robots.

Automation of adaptive control of complex objects states trajectories in artificial intelligence systems
2024, vol.16 , no.1, pp. 57-64
Article [2024-01-06]
Today, the problem of automating the control of the individual trajectory of the states of complex objects is relevant. It is necessary to influence the individual trajectory of the object's states, guided by certain parameters. The reaction should be adequate to change these parameters. The aim of the work is reasonable automation of adaptive control of complex objects and trajectories in artificial intelligence systems. Tasks to be solved: (1) Identification and evaluation of criteria by which it is possible to determine the level of the object's condition with a high degree of probability. (2) Creation of such a mechanism for issuing control actions to an object, on the basis of which it will be possible to create fully automated control trajectories that require a minimum of operator participation in the operation of the finished system.

Designing the architecture of a distributed system for information monitoring of IoT and IIoT infrastructures traffic
2024, vol.16 , no.1, pp. 49-56
Article [2024-01-05]
The article considers an approach to designing the architecture of a distributed information monitoring and quality management system for communication services provided by the Internet of Things and Industrial Internet of Things infrastructures based on solutions supporting machine-to-machine and human-machine interaction. The choice of a neural network with long Short-Term memory (LSTM) is justified as a theoretical basis for modeling the active node of an information monitoring system. The developed structure of the LSTM network is presented, taking into account the spatial and temporal correlation of the obtained indicators at various observation points of the distributed information monitoring system. The criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed model for the conditions of information monitoring of non-stationary load in a mode close to real time are substantiated.

A new model of ultra wideband sensors based interactive system
2024, vol.16 , no.1, pp. 39-48
Article [2024-01-04]
Camera Based Interactive Systems have found their application in various fields of human activity, such as education, industry, entertainment, healthcare, public order, etc. It could be noted that in the characteristics of such a system, certain shortcomings or weaknesses could be highlighted. To reduce these weaknesses, a new model, based on digital communication devices in the wideband radio frequency spectrum is proposed. The technology used is ultra-wideband based, through the construction of a wireless sensor network. This paper proposes a model of an ultra-wideband wireless sensor-based interactive system that implements the spatial orientation approach and the precise local positioning approach. A synthesis of the new model comprises four phases.

Authorship classification techniques: Bridging textual domains and languages
2024, vol.16 , no.1, pp. 27-38
Article [2024-01-03]
Authorship classification analyzes an author's prior work to identify their writing style, a unique trait of each language and individual author. This research aims to conduct a thorough comparative analysis of various methods for classifying authorship. The study leverages two corpora: AAALitCorpus of Albanian literary texts and CCAT10 of English columns. We evaluate model-generated features across different configurations. The richness of the features and the breadth of the analysis provide a significant understanding of the problem, setting a new standard for comprehensive linguistic investigations across multiple languages. The study indicates that machine learning algorithms accurately discern authorial writing styles, highlighting the complexities of classifying authorship in a cross-linguistic context.

Development and investigation of algorithm for the synthesis of an automatic control system of the drying process
2024, vol.16 , no.1, pp. 15-26
Article [2024-01-02]
At the first stage of research, the experimental transmission functions and optimal two-channel automatic adjustment system (ARS) of the residual moisture content during convection drying of apples were developed. As a result of the analysis of the structural synthesis of the ARS, the advantage of the optimal dual-channel ARS compared to the single-channel system was established. At the second stage of research, with a view to improving the quality of the single-channel speed ARS of the residual moisture content of apples, the robust ARS was developed by the method of parametric synthesis and root hodograph. Based on the research, the advantages of the speed single-channel robust system compared to the dual-channel system were established, which will significantly improve the quality of the products and reduce energy consumption for drying.
